Course Information
PSI.202 "Diplomatic History-2" is a semester-long course for the second year students of the Political Science and International Relations students. It continues from the end of the PSI.201 course of the previous semester however there is no prerequisite relationship between the two courses.
The course covers the period from the mid-19th century to the present day. It aims at giving a general perspective on major historical events and at providing a reliable background for the Political Science and International Relations students on the changes, developments, and breakthroughs in politics, society, culture, and economics of the time period covered in the course. The economic, political, and scientific frameworks which gave birth to the elements of the period from the mid-to-late 19th century to date are analysed in detail and hence ease the understanding of the current social, political, and economic affairs by the students of the field.
